HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED? 

Each person's therapy journey will be unique so there is no set number of sessions before you start to see improvements in your day to day life. We will work together to discuss frequency of appointments and regularly check in when it comes to your progress and ensure we are meeting the goals we have created together.

CAN I BOOK AN INTAKE SESSION?

Absolutely! I am currently offering a one-time free 15 minute consultation to see if the services are a good fit or to answer any questions you may have.

ARE THERE FORMS I NEED TO COMPLETE?

Before our first full session together, there will be an intake form to complete along with our confidentiality and agreement to services form. The intake includes the adverse childhood questionnaire screening (ACE). This screening can bring up difficult emotions, so it is important that you take as much time as you need to complete the questionnaire to the best of your ability. If you require assistance filling out any of the forms, we can go through them together during our first session.

WHAT IF I MISS AN APPOINTMENT?

We are humans and unexpected things pop up. I aim to be as compassionate and understanding as possible when it comes to missed appointments however, there is a high demand for services, and your time is reserved exclusively for you. The cancellation policy is indicated below: 

  • For any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice for non-emergency reasons, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. 

  •  For cancellations with less than 12 hours notice for non-emergency reasons, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. 

  • No shows with no cancellation notice are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. 

 

Cancellation fees will only be waived in the event of a medical emergency, death in the family, in the event of a natural disaster, or if the session can be rebooked within the same week. A same week session is not guaranteed, especially if your session is later in the week. For in-person sessions, if there is a weather event that may impact road conditions, we will connect as early as reasonability possible to discuss moving to a virtual session. 

WHAT IF WE AREN'T A GOOD FIT?

No problem! It can take time to find someone you feel comfortable with. As much as I aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all clients, if we don't connect in our session or you are looking for a different therapy style, we can discuss referral options for other practitioners that may be better suited for your needs.
